I’ve only recently come across his work, but I find his landscapes captivating.
Tonight, I tried to do a forest-scape loosely based on his style. It didn’t come close to evoking the mesmerizing state of ahhhhh that I strived for. That said, I had a fantastic time playing with the saturated colors, dabbing in my sun speckles and reveling in magenta. I may come back to it and see if I can nudge it in the right direction and then, maybe then, post it here.
